St Michael & All Angels Church

Men's Group

Are you thinking about being married in St Michael's Church?

Have you decided on a date and time?

Our Church is a wonderful setting for your memorable day. We can help you make it a special day. You may choose to have the bells rung before and after the ceremony, perhaps the choir to guide the hymn singing or the altar decorated with flowers.

Signing the register

It is usual for at least one partner to be living in the parish, or on the Electoral Roll of the Church. Your banns will be read in St Michael's and if the other partner lives in another parish, they will be read in that parish also. However the Marriage (Wales) Act 2010 broadens the the range of qualifying connections for marrying at a church of your choice in Wales. Full details are available from the Vicar who will be pleased to help you if you wish to hold your wedding ceremony at St Michael's.

Bride & Groom
Normally we use the new marriage service and we will arrange a date and time for you to come and discuss the arrangements. A little nearer the date we will arrange a time to rehearse the service.
